REM in Vancouver BC

I drove up to Vancouver with BM on Friday to catch longtime favorites, REM, play at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby. The venue was fantastic, a nice green bowl surrounded by trees and a lake. Being up in the front row, however, we didn't really get much chance to enjoy the scenery. The evening started with The National and Modest Mouse, both of whom were fantastic.
